Induction Brazing Advantages:
Brazing is described as the joining of similar and occasionally dissimilar metals by introducing heat and a binding non-ferrous alloy material. This joining process creates a bond that is extremely strong and metallurgically linked to the base material. Brazing differs from welding in that it does not bring the subject material past its own melting point. The brazing process covers a temperature range from 900°F - 2200°F (470°C - 1190°C) dependant upon the base material(s) to be joined.
Advantages of Eldec Induction Brazing:
Common types of brazing include torch, resistance, and induction. The real advantages of Eldec Induction brazing systems are:
- Safety — Open torch flames and hot resistance electrodes are dangerous!
- Repeatability — The process of applying energy, frequency and duration is precisely controlled, recorded, and repeated.
