1982   Schwenk GmbH Induktorbau is founded by
           Dipl.-Ing. Wolfgang Schwenk.

1993   Delivery of the first high-frequency and medium-frequency
           IGBT generators developed by eldec.

1998   eldec Induction USA is founded.

2000   Delivery of the first eldec SDF^® generators.

2004   Delivery of the first hardening system with a 1 MW SDF^® generator.

2006   Completion of a pilot hardening system with a
           3 MW SDF^® generator.

2007   eldec achieves a turnover of 12 Mio € worldwide with
           90 employees.

2008   Introduction of MIND hardening machine range.

2009   eldec establishes sales and service facility in China.
           Introduction of MICO product range.
           Introduction of world first pick-up hardening machine VL-H.
           Delivery of first eldec pole coil brazing system.

2010   Introduction of MIND-S product line.

2011   Introduction of MIND-M product line.
           Additional floor space for production and assembly in USA.
           New production and assembly facility with
           2000 m² in Dornstetten, Germany.

2012   Introduction of MICO-S.
           The MICO product line is complete.
           eldec reaches turnover of approx. € 21 million worldwide.

2013   eldec becomes a memeber of the EMAG Group.
